Thanks for the reminder, Wayne. That was definitely a blog-worthy topic. I threw that news story up on the CP Twitter feed the following day but forgot to give this blog some love. This time around I may hold off until he sets the single-season MLB record for K’s by a left-handed reliever (103)…if he keeps his Ks/9 where it is now, he’s going to be right in the mix for that one.

Since you haven’t updated this in a few days you might have missed it, but I think I heard that Tim Collins set the Royals record for strikeouts in a season by a left-hand pitcher.

Tim got a nice mention in the Tristan Cockcroft’s Fantasy Baseball column today as a closer candidate for the Royals if they trade Joakim Soria:

“A smallish figure at 5-foot-7, 170 pounds, Collins might not strike you as the kind of physical specimen you’d expect to see in the ninth inning. He sure has the stuff for it, however…”

I just had 2 clients have a row-race of 500m and it was awesome. They both took huge amounts off their times, client competitons are the way forward!
